2. Orders & Payment

2.1 Placing an Order

An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you have received an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order we cannot fulfil, for example due to stock unavailability, in which case we will contact you and refund any payment already made.

2.2 Payment Methods

Payment is processed securely via our payment gateway at checkout. If you pay by Instant EFT, please allow up to 48 hours for your payment to be confirmed and your order finalised, as EFT payments are verified manually.

2.3 Order Accuracy

Please check your order details, delivery/collection choice, and contact information carefully before completing checkout. Contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error.

3. Pricing & Product Information

3.1 Prices shown on this store are quoted in South African Rand and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

3.2 Demo Shop Pty Ltd is responsible for the accuracy of all product names, descriptions, prices, and (where relevant) allergen or safety information published on this store. If you have a specific query about a product before ordering, please contact us.

3.3 The price shown at the time your order is placed is the binding price. Prices may not be altered retroactively after an order is received.

3.4 We make reasonable efforts to keep stock levels accurate, but availability can change between browsing and checkout. If a Product becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer an alternative, a delay, or a full refund.

4. Delivery & Collection

Delivery and collection options available for a given Product are shown at checkout and may include courier delivery, locker/pickup-point delivery, or local collection, depending on what we offer for that Product. Delivery costs, where applicable, are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

If you selected local collection, we will confirm when your order is ready and the collection details.

5. Returns & Refunds

5.1 You have the right to return defective goods in line with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

5.2 To request a return, exchange, or refund, please contact us with your order number and the reason for the request. We will confirm the next steps.

5.3 Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method.

5.4 Perishable, made-to-order, or custom Products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns — this will be clearly stated on the relevant product listing where it applies.

6. Risk & Ownership

Ownership and risk in Products pass to you on collection (local pickup) or on handover to the courier/delivery service at the recorded delivery address. We recommend checking your order on collection or immediately on delivery.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All content on this Website, including text, photographs, logos, and branding, is the property of Demo Shop Pty Ltd or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7.2 Where a Product listed on this store bears a third-party brand, trademark, or other producer's intellectual property, that Product remains subject to the intellectual property rights of the original producer or brand owner. Listing or selling that Product does not transfer or grant any intellectual property right in that brand to Demo Shop Pty Ltd or to you as a buyer. Demo Shop Pty Ltd is responsible for lawfully sourcing and having the right to sell any branded third-party Product offered on this store.

8. Liability, Indemnity & Contact

8.1 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Demo Shop Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this Website or a Product purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or protection you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8.2 Indemnity

You use any Products purchased through this store at your own risk. You agree to indemnify Demo Shop Pty Ltd against any claim arising from your own negligence or misuse of a Product, save where caused by Demo Shop Pty Ltd's gross negligence.
